About You
Sometimes a little bit too much to take on board in a short period of time, but overall very enjoyable, especially networking with everybody else!
I definitely felt valued and encouraged, the dinner and hotel were lovely too and it was clear a lot of effort was made for us.
There was always help for each task we were given, although some of the instructions could have been clearer.
I definitely have a clearer idea of the options available to me and how I could fit in at Deloitte.
The Company
There was a very clear timetable, most things ran on time and I always knew where to be.
Generally very positive, sometimes you could tell people were tiring or not particularly interested in some areas though!
The workshop about self-branding was very useful, the case studies showed some of the skills necessary in the workplace.
There was a lot of information about different roles, and presentations from recently employed people so we knew more about the graduate scheme and summer vacation scheme.
The dinner especially gave us a really honest perspective and allowed us to ask lots of questions.
Everything Else
Travel expenses were reimbursed up to the value of £50.
The majority of the presentations and question sessions were led by employees, as well as the networking dinner.
Being at the hotel with everyone was great, and we worked in teams for all the tasks. The networking dinner could have been organised better to allow us to talk to more people though.
Some sports and societies were mentioned as well as social events.
Definitely very useful, and nice that it is only for 2 days! It will also give an advantage if you want to apply for the summer vacation scheme!
