About You
It was an amazing opportunity and I enjoyed my time at the bank
Got to meet and work with several employees at the bank who were giving advice and feedback allowing me to make the most of the week
A lot of support! We were assigned mentors prior to the Spring Week which was a great scheme and helped us prepare prior to the week to make the most out of our time there
Not relevant to my degree but make me understand more what I want for a career and how I should get involved more at university e.g. societies
The Company
Given an agenda at the beginning of the week and stuck to it quite closely. Covered a lot in the week but unfortunately didn't have time to go into a division specifically
The group I was with were great and very easy to get along with. Quite a lot of hard work though
Spent a lot of time trying to give us a very good overall insight on the bank
Got to meet a lot of people who shared their insight. Also a lot of emphasis on the New York training for new analysists
The week was enough to get a good feel for the bank
Everything Else
Provided great accommodation and all travel costs were covered
The mentor was a great idea to get to know someone very well. There were a few networking lunches but few employees attended so this could have been better
There were not many social events since the days went on quite late and we were all working on our projects in the evenings
Had several sessions informing us on this, especially the Business Resource Groups that the bank has
Learnt a lot throughout the week and got a good feel for which division I am more suited to
