  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Some case studies were quite enjoyable and the social event was good

    • Not there for long so not very applicable but the people running the two days spent all their time with us so we got to know them quite well

    • not applicable to my degree but made me more aware of what I want for a career

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Good structure. Didnt receive an agenda at the beginning but felt each division was covered quite well with enough time

    • Quite relaxed, they just wanted us to learn about what Deloitte was as a company and equally we wanted to find this out

    • Provided lots of case studies and had several employees in to assist us. Also had several external companies come in and develop soft skills

    • Didnt get to see this first hand but met a range of employees who illustrated this quite well

    • Amazing accommodation was provided and all expenses were covered

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes but not as many as I would have hoped. All tended to be in consultancy and audit

    • They were fun and very relaxed

    • Learnt about some of the societies they were involved in and the social events

    • A good insight into the professional services firm and pretty much guaranteed a fast track interview to the summer vacation programme the following year
