About You
An enjoyable week, but slightly too passive, with mostly presentations.
Friendly people who were willing to take time to speak to you.
It was an organised three days so we did not need any guidance/support.
Not sure that it will help me in my degree, however, will be handy for a career.
The Company
It was well structured in terms of organisation and timings, but too presentation based.
The passive nature meant that it could get a bit boring at times. There were some interactive sessions which were enjoyable.
Had interactive trading sessions and case studies which were helpful.
Although we had many presentations, it would be helpful to have some work shadowing to see what a full time role is like.
Speaking to employees gave me a good idea of the company's culture - one of openness and development.
Everything Else
Live within M25, yet they still reimbursed tube expenses. Lots of other people were given accommodation.
Yes, we had drinks on Monday and a closing dinner on Wednesday, in addition to a 'career fair' where we could speak to people from different departments.
Enjoyable, social, relaxing, yet at the same time insightful.
No, was mostly talking about work.
Yes, it was an enjoyable three days that I would recommend.
