The Role
Excellent experience on CV, cutting edge tech.
Like an equal, no resentment from the team whatsoever.
Available for advice and support at any time when he is in the office.
Sometimes didn't have so much work on my hands.
I was at the forefront in investigating and adapting new technology to be used by the team.
Excellent. Industry level workflow and development experience.
The Company
It's a place of work, anyway.
Quite well, reasonable amount of time to get up to speed with the rest of the team.
A lot of money and effort was put in to make my placement useful.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Experience with company organization helps a lot.
The Culture
Good, had some events organised, enjoyed them thoroughly.
Cambridge is expensive and small where what is described as 'socialising' everywhere else is known as 'study groups'. Worst part of the placement.
2-3 nightclubs, no late night buses, could definitely be better.
Company has various events organised regularly, mostly with charities.
