  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Excellent experience on CV, cutting edge tech.

  • Like an equal, no resentment from the team whatsoever.

  • Available for advice and support at any time when he is in the office.

  • Sometimes didn't have so much work on my hands.

  • I was at the forefront in investigating and adapting new technology to be used by the team.

  • It's a place of work, anyway.

  • Quite well, reasonable amount of time to get up to speed with the rest of the team.

  • A lot of money and effort was put in to make my placement useful.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Good, had some events organised, enjoyed them thoroughly.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cambridge is expensive and small where what is described as 'socialising' everywhere else is known as 'study groups'. Worst part of the placement.

  • 2-3 nightclubs, no late night buses, could definitely be better.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Company has various events organised regularly, mostly with charities.
