The Role
Most of the work was very interesting and I was given opportunities to get involved in many tasks
Although a colleague once made the comment "I could do the work faster than explaining it to you", they never stopped explaining things things and trying to get me involved in as many things as possible.
I was given extremely clear instructions on almost every piece of work I got involved in and if I wasn't the managers were all too happy to help.
Most days was the perfect balance although when a big piece of work neared completion it got a bit rushed and in the few days after it was rather relaxed.
While I was given plenty of opportunites to get involved in things that were going on, due to the nature of the industry, I was not weiged down heavily with responsibility.
I feel there are many skills that I will take away from this and be able to put into practice in my Degree, not least the time management skills needed.
The Company
Everyone got on really well and while everyone works hard there is plenty of banter.
Not much more to be said.
In this placement there was little scope for investing in the interns however I felt the salary was more than "competitive"
Sports and Social Club
Can't comment just yet as I haven't heard back after my interview.
The Culture
Very good social scene. There were plenty of events organised and plenty of opportunities to go for drinks after work.
Less expensive than London but with the same pay. Not cheap though.
Pretty good.
Plenty of sports being played in the 7 weeks I was there however if you don't like sports then I'm not sure if there's anything else.
