The Role
I very much enjoyed my time at Barclaycard, the team were friendly and the tasks were challenging but not a struggle.
Complete work was often praised and I was quickly integrated into the team.
I was given great guidance by my manager and oter team members were keen to share their knowledge.
I often completed tasks well within the time frame I was given.
I was given responsibility on the projects I worked on and liaised with many other teams.
I gained the skills of working within a team in a very large organisation. Skills or presentation and discussion are invaluable.
The Company
The team were friendly and chatty but got on with the task in hand.
The placement was very well structured with clear objevtives, contact from the leaders andlots of informative events.
It was clear that the internship programme was taken seriously and we were encouraged to excel as our performance would be rated.

Company Parties/Events
There are very good prospects for Interns to go onto the Graduate Programme.
The Culture
The other interns were very sociable withdaily lunch arrangements and weekly nights out.
As it is based in London, the cost of travel and living is very high.
Canary Wharf caters very well to the many workers, there are many bards and restaurants and it is close to the nightlife of central London.
There were community days and nights out often organised.
