The Role
A variety of tasks to do to keep me busy
Felt very appreciated by my team.
My manager took the time to explain anything I wasn't clear on to make sure I understood it 100%
Fairly busy all the time, however there were times where I felt like I had a lot of work on - this was probably more at the start of placement at monthend where I didnt fully understand tasks and there were strict deadlines.
A lot of responsibility, especially in the Treasury side of my role.
Fundamental accounting theories that I learnt at university have been put into practice.
The Company
A pretty quiet office, however my team were always very friendly.
Handover Packs were given at the begining of the placement, with a smooth handover period of 5 weeks.
Excel training, Stemnet ambassador.
Only considered if a job comes up - not really graduate specific roles.
The Culture
Because there were so many other undergraduates there was a great social scene.
Pretty cheap place to live and go out in.
not many places you can go out, but it is really close to London, St Albans and Milton Keynes.
A few opportunities to play sports etc..
