The Role
Great oppertunity in a well known company, but not much respect for interns. Very heirarchial
Interns do a lot of the 'dog work' with higher management seeking much of the recognition and often reaping the rewards.
Some support, but often asked to do work for the benefit of others
Very busy depending on upcoming meetings. Be warned, there is no such thing as a 5pm finish at L'Oreal. The later you stay, the better you are perceived.
A lot of responsibility but not many oppertunities to see projects out to the end or make big decisions.
Slightly, analysis was important
The Company
Fun if you were on pace with your work
Well organised
No formal training and no oppertunities to embark on the same training as full time employees, such as presentation and excel skills.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Choosing not to embark on the graduate scheme
The Culture
Good scene with regular nights out
Average london prices
Good, better in the city
Some sports, but always arranged by interns
