The Role
Wide variety of projects gave me an insight into different segments of the business.
Very welcoming from day one! Everyone is always willing to help you.
There when you need them even by email when away on business.
Good flow of work load and if I was short of work I could ask for a new project.
Trusted to run a project on my own means and it was upto me to update the team as necessary.
I've used a lot of what I learnt at university during my year on placement.
The Company
Friendly, fun and often cakes!
Had a few IT issues at the start but they were quickly resolved.
Help me to reach my development plan objectives.

The Culture
Yes there was a Lubrizol ball, Christmas meals. the students organised nights out/film nights. The sports and social club have weekly and monthy events also.
Very cheap quality, accomodation and nights out were cheap.
Derby is quite small but has some good bars and a couple of clubs or it's only 30 mins on a bus to Nottingham for a night out.
The sorts and social club have weekly sports sessions and monthly trips such as to London.
