About You
Good fun throughout the 3 days, especially the game on the final day.
Felt very valued, asked questions doing work shadowing part asking what I would be interested in. Also many opportunities to ask questions to hosts
Very informative week giving out a lot of information about the company and working there.
In particular with software engineering seeing how different software process models are put into action in a real life scenario.
The Company
Good plan/timetable, overran a little from too many questions to hosts
Good fun, maybe a little more moving around, sitting down for a long period of time
More of an educational experience learning how things work and getting to know the business rather than training and development.
Work shadowing showed different peoples work during the day and what it involves. Also talks from higher ranking members described there work.
Much was explained during the 3 days about the company and how they like to work.
Everything Else
Company paid for travel, train. Also would have paid for accommodation but lived locally so had no need.
A lot of opportunities. Also had a drinks night which involved a more informal session with members of the company.
Good opportunities to talk with many different people as well as fellow students on the event.
A lot of activities were described including their charity work.
Very worthwhile opportunity in which you can gain a lot of insight.
