The Role
One of the best experiences so far.
Everyone was very open to each other, often went out for drinks after work. Team mates were very helpful in any tasks.
Support was available most of the time although my manager wanted me to be independent in the same time.
Some days very relaxed, others back to back meetings.
Access to very sensitive information, had the chance to run my own project for an important customer of the business so the responsibility level was high but I guess it depends on the manager and department you're in.
As my placement was more business IT focused and I study Computer Science, not very helpful from a technical point of view, but extremely valuable in terms of planning, work structure and career opportunities.
The Company
Depending on how busy we all were...sometimes quiet and sometimes very fun.
Work placement was very organised in terms of my development mainly due to my manager but in terms of further graduate recruitment process, definitely a minus from my point of view.
No paid training was done for me.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Really good working environment but I would like to keep my options opened.
The Culture
Almost weekly going out events between the interns.
Not too expensive as it is not in Central London.
For a good time, you can't beat Central London.
Plenty. Lovely area for sports, lots of parks and green space.
