The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year as I developed a vast array of skills that will benefit my future career as well as providing me with invaluable experience in the workplace.
I was given ownership of an array of task which showed that I was valued and accepted as a member of the team.
Working within bid teams gave me exposure to senior bid managers who helped bestow their wisdom and experience to me.
I had a great balance throughout the year with some weeks being maniacally busy and some being fairly quiet that helped to keep me motivated throughout the year.
I was given varying levels of responsibility throughout my placement across different tasks.
The year has been a brilliant experience and I will look to use all the skills for the rest of my career.
The Company
The offices I worked had good atmospheres.
the work was slow to begin with but the more responsibility I was given the more work came way as the year progressed.
The company gave every available chance for training and development and heavily invested in the scheme.

Working from home
The graduate scheme seems like a very good program.
The Culture
The IP's all live locally and we all get on well as a group but most of us go home at weekends.
Reading and the London area is much more expensive than Aberdeen.
The Reading night life is above average.
We played 5-a-side football at Reading uni with work colleagues.
