The Role
I had a lot of fun on this internship. It was definitely hard work but I felt that in the end that it was worth it. Would really love to do it again if I was given the chance.
They helped me throughout the whole internship and were really friendly, it made me feel like an important part of the team.
My manager was always giving me advice on how to do things better so that I could improve and was always encouraging when I did a good job. Any questions that I had were answered quickly and if I didn't understand anything my manager would take the time out to make sure that I wasn't going back to work with any doubts of what to do.
Never a dull moment when working and I was always busy with something. That being said, the work load wasn't too heavy that I couldn't take some time out at times.
Some of the work that I was given at the start was just to get me used to the work that the full time employees were doing but once I was comfortable with that I was given increasingly important work to do. It was a nice gradual build up.
I feel like I have improved so many of my skills, particularly soft skills. Things like being able to communicate effectively with other members of your team will no doubt be very helpful in the future.
The Company
I generally felt the atmosphere was really good. It was really comfortable to work in and I had a lot of freedom to talk to my team members and manager at any time.
There were some glitches at the start because of some miscommunication but that could have happened to anyone. The rest of the internship was seamless and everything felt really well organised.
I was given the opportunity to take on further training if I needed it and my manager was always on hand to walk me through something that I wasn't sure about. Having access to experienced employees at the company was really great.

The Culture
I had a lot of fun with my colleages. They were really friendly in and out of the office. We went out to some of the pubs in the area and had a bit of time to get to know each other.
Really expensive but that didn't stop me from going out.
Awesome! Didn't go out as a much as I wanted to but the clubs I went to were better than any back home for sure.
Yep, the company had events for all the interns which was a good way to relax. Really good way to meet people from other parts of the company too.
