The Role
I really enjoyed the internship. It really was an eye-opener for me and confirmed that I wanted to work in this area. I also met a lot of interesting people and expanded my network.
I team treated me well and I never felt like an outsider. They just treated me as I expected which made it easier to get to know them and work with them every day.
Everyone was very willing to help and answer any questions that I had. We were all assigned buddies and it was great. The support and guidance was second to none.
Some days I would have a lot to do, but then some days I didn't. It's quite dynamic but so I like that aspect.
A fair amount of responsibility, but not too much understandably as I was just new. The team gave me more responsibility as the internship went on though.
I learned new skills and improved existing ones. It was a great opportunity to learn and I think these skills will definitely be useful for me later in life.
The Company
Really good atmosphere. Definitely not strict at all which makes communicating with
Very well organised - was never left wondering what was coming next. Communications were frequent and questions were welcomed.
Training was provided at the start of the internship which was really good. Everyone got to know each other here too. During the internship, we were encouraged to do extra training.
Company Parties/Events
I got offered a graduate job! I'll be starting this year.
The Culture
Great social scene, I thought. Everyone wanted to get to know each other and we went out for drinks often. Some of the interns organised events and invited the rest which turned out really good.
Didn't think it was too expensive, although best to keep an eye on the budget!
Really enjoyed the nightlife when I went out a few times. Lively and really fun.
A lot of opportunities, yes. A lot of networking events to get to know people which are really good since building your professional network is really important. I met a lot of influential people through these events.
