The Role
It was really enjoyable. I loved the work I was doing and it confirmed for me what I would like to do in the future.
They treated me fairly and even bought me drinks when we went out for socials. I got to know them very quickly and it was very easy for me to work with them. I learned a lot.
I learned a lot from my manager and colleagues. They were always there to support me and answered all my questions. I never felt overwhelmed.
Near the start of the internship I was quite busy but then it evened out and I think there was a pretty good balance near the end. I learned to manage my time well.
Some responsibility was given, but the business critical decisions the rest of the team made for understandable reasons. I still felt I played a big role in the team though.
I learned to communicate better, to work better in teams and also to organise better. These skills will definitely we useful for me in my professional career.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was great. Everyone had a hard working attitude but were willing to have a chat now and then. Met some colleagues in the kitchen for a break now and then to catch up which was good.
Very well organised, nothing to complain about here. All of the communication happened via email and it was timely. Events organised were good as well.
I was really impressed with the training the company offered. At the start of the interns went through training and during the internship, my manager encouraged me to do any training I felt was required.

I now know I want to work for a financial firm. Feedback from my colleagues was good so going back here would be great.
The Culture
Great social scene. Most of the interns got to know each other pretty well and organised outings and nights out. It was a good way to relax after work and get to know each other better.
It was ok actually. Not to cheap, but not too expensive either which was good.
Nightlife was brilliant. I went out with the interns a few times and we all had a good time.
Quite a lot of opportunities. The company organised some events and these were good to network with other people and build relationships. Other events were organised too, so quite a lot of opportunities I would say.
