The Role
I really enjoyed the opportunity to gain such valuable experience in a company like BlackBerry. I got on well with my colleagues and enjoyed the role and my responsibilities.
I did feel valued as a member of my team, as I was able to work on lots of different projects.
My manager was very supportive, making sure communication wasn't lost and she was very approachable.
At times, projects became quiet. In general, I had enough to keep me occupied.
I was given enough responsibility to feel comfortable, not overwhelmed.
I gained skills and developed existing ones.
The Company
The atmosphere was good. People worked hard, but we did have fun and joke around every now and then.
It was seamless, everything was as good as it could have been.
There was training available if we wanted to do it
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare/Dental
Unfortunately, BlackBerry hasn't had it's greatest year. I would still like to work for them, but I would want to see more stability.
The Culture
There was, but it didn't appeal to me.
I lived at home about 4 miles from the office.
Nightlife in Slough is non-existant. However, Windsor is nearby and very good.
Not many, no.
