  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • On the whole a positive experience.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • Was based at the Hub in Bristol in the defence office. Everyone I met was lovely and always ready to help.

    • Felt that I could have been given more work. Spent alot of time on waiting

    • Often had little to do. Would have prefered more work.

    • When given work I felt it was important and that poeple depended on me for it.

    • Learnt valuable office skills as well as some PM and System Engineering skills

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Office enviorment was absolutly lovely. Very calm and relaxed and full of great people.

    • Was not given much substantial work. Was mainly odd jobs around the palce

    • On the whole Atkins is an appleaing company to work for

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There were no fellow placement sutdents but quite a few grads which I made friends with.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Lived in Bath which can be expensive. Was possible to live closer to work which would have been cheaper but stayed in Bath for other reasons.

    • Not intrested in the Nightlife. Have heard Bristol has some clubs. Cant really comment

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • The Sports and Societies club was very active and often promoting new activities to enjoy.
