The Role
Great experience in a good learning internship outside UK
Have been given the opportunity to lead projects on various occasions. Given freedom on the way that I work within the company.
Always received concrete feedback from my peers at work.
Had a perfect balance of work and social life during my placement
Had several opportunities to handle projects
These skills that I have been able to gain will be a strong strength of mine.
The Company
Very liberal environment
Was given alot of information prior to the start, and the managers aided me in quickly learning the skills required
I had been given training from the company which was compulsory, besides that I had also been sent abroad to another headquarters to learn more on the skill that I should develop. This showed to me that the company was investing time and money in all of my efforts.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
I have had a great experience during the internship, and am certain that they would be more then pleased to hire me again. Although I feel that I need to gain experience in other areas of the same field.
The Culture
Had a interns group, and were meeting each weekend socializing.
The living and socializing was very reasonable in direct comparison to the UK. The reasons for this are that I have been able to make sufficient from savings even after the majority of socializing.
Stuttgart as a city has a strong nightlife and is compatible for different individuals needs.
There are several activities that I have been able to participate in outside work, such as some dance classes.
