The Role
Such a good year, would recommend to other interns.
Every one was really nice and welcoming.
So helpful, and gave me very useful feedback.
Most of the time I had a good amount of work to do on a daily basis. Of course, some days were busier/quieter than others, but there is always work to be done!
You are responsible for your own project and was given some important projects during the year.
From all the feedback as well as all the training sessions available, it has provided me with a good knowledge base with technical knowledge as well as personal skills.
The Company
Relaxed but everyone works hard and gets on really well. I would have good conversations during the day whether it being about something personal or professional.
Very well structured, had good projects and events with the other interns. But most time was spent on my own projects during my own team.
There were many training sessions available, in a lot of different technical areas. As well as different skill events during the start of the placement.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
As well as being a generally great job. Mobility within in the firm is available and encouraged, and the people are very nice and professional.
The Culture
A lot of good events organised.
(Lived at home). But the cost of socializing was good if you know where to go.
Loads of pubs to go, and club just a tube/bus journey away.
There are many clubs/socials within the firm, as well as events that are organised by teams. (My team went on a ski trip!). Being in the city there are loads of activities you can get involved in around the area.
