The Role
Considerig my profession is in chemical engineering, sometimes the workload vaires and there are times of little to no work.
Everyone is very welcoming and caring within the office.
As previously stated there are numerous occasions when the work load will be limited and I was bored.
I gained a good understanding in how the business works through colaboration of both technical and business orientated jobs. The key thing learnt from my placement is applying the fundamental theory learnt from university and putting it into practice.
The Company
I don't believe that Atkins caters amazingly for student process engineers. There is no structe into how the placement goes.
The company is good at offering training and development schemes, and also they offer a scholarship scheme to help in university costs.
