The Role
Lots of opportunities to get involved in any area of the business making it a very rewarding experience.
We all work very closely, resulting in a great and approachable environment
Any questions I asked were answered to the best of managements ability, I found that management always had time for me.
It's hard to rate this question to reflect my thoughts. I was very busy and pushed to achieved, however I enjoyed that aspect.
I was given all the responsibility of a graduate, and that was very rewarding. Anything I asked to do (that I was in a position to be able to do) I was allowed to do.
Everything from the technical skills, the organisation skills and the business skills. This is an extremely well rounded internship and has taught me skills not just for university but for the rest of my career.
The Company
"Work hard, play hard." This is an accepted way to describe the culture here.
Large projects to work on year round, there was never a time where I wasn't leading up to something.
The commercial cost of the training, support and advice from specialists and the general business and marketing skills cost are huge, they invest a lot in their interns.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Potentially great although career progression in NI for a returning intern is not transparent.
The Culture
We regularly arranged pub trips and nights out, including some more day time activities.
Newbury is an expensive area, unfortunately the salary is not bumped up accordingly so things tend to seem more expensive.
One club but hundreds of pubs, that was my preferred scene, but potentially not for everyone.
Some nice company organised events.
