The Role
My placement has overall been really good, in some places it has been very challenging, however I have enjoyed working at Atkins immensely
I felt part of the team, I was not treated differently or looked down upon because I was a placement student, we were all there for the same reason to get the job done as best as possible.
In certain aspects I was given a lot of support, however in other aspects I felt that I had been left on my own.
Mostly healthily busy, however as I was working on several small things throughout the year rather then one big project, there has been points where I haven't had a lot to do.
I have been given quite a bit of responsibility, which has proved very good for my development.
The skills I have developed while here I will take with me for the rest of my life, in regards to discipline, time management, people management et.
The Company
It was a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the staff where fun, however we still got the work done
It was set up very well in regards to HR and training, however in regards to work I would be completing it wasn't set up very well, i.e. I had to find my own work once I started.
I was sent on a couple of training events which was more then I expected.

Working from home
I have been promised a job already.
The Culture
There is a very good social scene amongst the Graduates/Placement students/other staff, all are up for a night out and a good time.
I lived at home.
It was good, I was located between two cities threrefore there was plenty of choice.
