The Role
I enjoy the independence of being on placement and getting involved in different projects.
My colleagues make sure that I am involved in work and guide me through it. I have recieved praise for good work.
I am always given technical help when needed.
As of January 2014, the work load really picked up as more projects were handed to Atkins.
As of January 2014, I have been given a lot more responsibility on projects and my work has really mattered to the team.
I feel that my technical, organisational, IT and team working skills have improved whilst being on placement.
The Company
I enjoy working as part of the Structures team - everyone is very friendly and willing to help.
The only downside was a lack of work in the first few months, however this affected the whole team.
I was required to fill out and maintain a 'personal development report'.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I would consider working at Atkins in the future.
The Culture
Everyone is very friendly and willing to socialise regularly.
Living in London is extortionate.
There is plenty to do in Euston, London.
London offers many activities.
