The Role
I have really enjoyed my time working for IBM and traveling the country as a Junior Business Consultant. There have been 1 or 2 tough characters but there is everywhere. I would suggest be careful about your role as some are better than others and I was fortunate enough to get a great role.
I got on really well with nearly everyone I worked with, everyone's just a normal person like you.
The support through foundation is great. I was given a lot of training opportunities and help in identifying areas of development.
The work load is immense, be prepared for occasional 12 hour days and to regularly work a 45-50 hour week. This was great for me but could get very intense at times
I was given plenty of responsibility in a guided environment. The autonomy of the work really suited me and I was always able show off my ability in a controlled way. Not too much or little responsibility.
The placement has put my degree into context and I still relate theories and enjoy academia but I have also gained an understanding of where I need to develop as a professional.
The Company
Very mixed I have worked in 3 offices over the year and they have varied from Exciting to Dull
I believe the organisation could have been better but it was symptomatic of the business that a lot of the structure of my placement was done on the fly and slightly adhoc.
They invested a lot of time no financial investment.
Flexi Time

Working from home
I am applying for a job with them but will also be focusing on a few other top companies.
The Culture
varied from location to location but overall among the interns it was very good.
