The Role
I had little choice regarding what projects I worked on and found them rather tedious.
Making friends within the office was easy enough and everyone was friendly.
Four months of project work I was working on my own with little support.
There were some quiet periods but overall I was kept busy enough. The work itself was rather boring though.
One project I worked on it ended up being just myself for a few months.
The work I did wasn't particularly testing and didn't draw on much I have learnt from my degree so far.
The Company
The atmosphere was fairly standard for an office job.
The placement was sorted fairly seamlessly.
Any training required was provided but for the projects I worked on very little was needed.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I think it is the aerospace engineering industry rather than the company that I don't want to work in.
The Culture
There were a lot of sport and social events organised.
The location was close enough to my university such that I lived with friends from university rather than the area I worked in.
As before.
There were a lot of sport and social events organised.
