The Role
ups and downs, it pretty much depends on your management and mine was absent for a lot of the time. I wasn't challenged very much.
I have no quarrels with my work colleagues who in general have a good attitude to interns.
In such a big place you rely on your management for guidance and work, mine were absent and seemingly not interested.
I kept myself busy but I often wasn't engaged because the work was often menial.
In the big scheme of things I felt not much.
Didn't learn alot of transferable because the work just wasn't that engaging.
The Company
pretty standard
The people in charge try hard but i felt it was under resourced and could have been better.
Most obvious issue with this is that they don't allow interns on internal trainings, which is slightly ridiculous.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Not interested. But with 120 interns and only 40 grad positions you can see it being difficult.
The Culture
decent
surprisingly cheap.
its a town so not too bad
lots of footy
