The Role
It was a really enjoyable internship. I worked on some great things and got to know a lot of interesting people. The things I learned during the internship were invaluable.
I certainly felt valued during the internship. The team were excellent and treated me very well and it was a very enjoyable experience working with them overall.
I was given a quite a bit of support by my manager and colleagues, particularly near the start when I was just new. It definitely helped me to settle in and throughout the internship I always knew that someone was there to help me if I ran into any problems.
I wasn't too busy or bored. It was a great balance and the work never piled up so that I couldn't complete it. My manager was happy with my work rate.
I was given a project for me to do primarily on my own. When I worked with others on it, I would get to make the final call which was great to experience.
The skills I have learned during my time at the company were second to none. I will surely take these skills with me and use them for the rest of my university life and also in my professional life.
The Company
The atmosphere was great. It was fairly relaxed and everyone seemed to be really friendly. Great working environment overall.
It was very well organised. All of the training was set up for us from the very beginning and we were always told about details of the internship with plenty of time.
The company invested a lot in training and development. From the training they provided during the induction, to manager meetings, I felt that the company wanted me to do well. The feedback from my manager has been particularly useful in allowing me to improve myself.

Company Parties/Events
It would be great to return here as a graduate. I plan to apply and with the experience I gained during the internship and advice I have been given, I think I have a pretty good chance.
The Culture
There was a great social scene among the interns. Everyone was really friendly and since we were in the same boat, so to speak, we all just wanted to get to know each other.
The cost of living was fairly expensive -- more expensive than what I was used to. I found myself cutting back on some things as the internship progressed.
The nightlife was okay, although not as good as I thought it would be. There wasn't something for everybody -- only a limited selection.
There were actually quite a few opportunities to get involved outside of work. These were mainly events organised for the interns, but there were also networking events where we got to meet employees in the company. The relaxed nature of these events was great and I met a lot of people.
