The Role
Found my role was very admin based. Whilst I watched other Interns go on to client site I was in the IBM london office 9-5 Monday-Friday which was frustrating. Quality control over placement experience is a development area
Everybody is really helpful and friendly. I enjoyed working with the people at IBM
Management is great. Can be very bureaucratic sometimes however.
Either bored or too busy. I had set processes but these constantly changed.
Very little which saddened me as this contributed to my overall disappointment in my year.
On a balance I learn't less than I hoped however development was apparrent.
The Company
Could be dull, however as I worked in a large team this was less apparent to me.
I noticed little problems with the process.
As part of a large community the company did well to provide training to the whole of the intern community
