The Role
I worked in a busy HR department which meant that there was variety of tasks and projects to get involved with which has given me invaluable work experience over the past year. The work was enjoyable (yet challenging at times), and allowed me to both develop and build on a number of key HR skills.
Great support and regular one-to-ones to discuss my development and any issues throughout the year. Also had a workplan for the placement year which was useful.
Good balance despite this varying from week-to-week. I like to keep busy and there was always something to do.
The placement gave me essential HR experience within a global organisation and allowed me ascertain whether or not I should continue working towards a career in HR. I believe that the experience gained and skills developed throughout the placement will be invaluable when it comes to final year at university and gaining a permanent HR role once graduted.
The Company
Lots of development opportunities and lots of placement training!
The Culture
Afterwork activities, charity events etc.
