The Role
Very fun environment to work in and I learned more here than I ever thought I would. The people are great, the facilities are cool and it was really good feeling professional this year.
There were only maybe 2 times that I actually felt like an intern rather than a colleague throughout the whole year.
My manager has been great and did a really good job of getting me on the right projects and sorting out any worries that I had about anything.
There were times where I would be done early but that was mainly because I had a good day working rather than not enough to do, and there were of course big pushes for work at times but just the right amount.
Definitely got a chance to work on projects getting stuff done and also influencing the projects as they go on.
I've learned so much in the way of real skills both technical and personal, and after the year I feel like I could learn anything I need to now
The Company
Very positive, always feeling like we could get anything done and have a great time doing it.
It's very organised, as it's a corporation but sometimes it feels a little to organised at the start, rather than getting stuck in, although there's plenty of time for that later
There are loads of things you can do to go with your job like exams and stuff to get extra qualifications, although I didn't want to do them, I felt that if I did want to, I would know exactly where to go and what to do. The only reason I didn't feel that I needed to was because I was already learning so much in my day job.
