The Role
My year was a great journey which I have fully enjoyed and would never change for any other experience. Looking back to my start of the internship, I had 12 months full of unique moments ahead of me - an experience where you look forward to your day at work every morning!
I have become a vital member of our marketing team, my work got recognised and appreciated as well as the fact that you get the opportunity to contribute to their success.
I had the support throughout the year, not only from my manager but also from the team, my mentors, the interns community and the staffing team. They were there to guide and support me when needed at every milestone of my intenship.
My role was an intense role that required tight time-management and planning skills. Don't forget, this is a full time job and it is entirely up to you what balance you'll establish. The opportunities are there for you to seize, be it an additional project, a stretch goal, networking opportunities or a chill-out time.
You become a full-time member of your team who delivers real value to both, the core team, the wider community and mainly, to the business
As a management student, I found my role and the skillset I have developed to be an invaluable contribution to my business sudies - a perfect way to link the theory learnt with real experience
The Company
a great and friendly environment to work in - spending a lot of time in the office, you develop great relationships with your peers, colleagues and managers - at the end of the day, they are people who make the work a great place to come back to.
The staffing team is second to none - a truly great experience on its own. From the application process and interview, to the onboarding process and general internship management, they were there to support us and make the year to be an enjoyable experience.
I was able to get mentors, attend training and workshops as well as join online learning sessions. Also, as a part of my role, I had the opportunity to receive specific marketing training to enhance my skillset.

Reading area is quite alright to socialise in.
Some great clubs around, especially for interns' and company's parties!
