The Role
I've had a great year, great place to grow the skills you learn at university.
I was as big a part of team as any other member, it didn't feel like I was an intern.
If I ever had a question, my manager was always happy to answer, set up 1:1s to go through things.
In finance you're extremely busy at the end of the month, it dies down slightly the rest of the time, but there's always thing to do, but you still have time to get involved in extra projects.
I wasn't viewed as an intern, but as an extension to my manager, so my responsibilities for the most part where her responsibilities,
The main thing I'm going to take back to uni is the work ethic. Although a lot of what I've done in my role will be transferable when I finish my degree.
The Company
The xbox office is always lively as most of my floor was marketing teams. Everyone has similar interests, so there's always conversations to get involved in.
The university team do a great job at making the year run as smoothly as possible.
You have the option to take exams to become officially certified in Microsoft Office, the rest of my role was learn on the job.

Working from home
I'm part of a very small team, so roles don't come up often. My best bet is within another team for the grad scheme.
The Culture
People are out pretty much every weekend, there's always something to do.
I lived at home, but going out in Reading isn't too bad as its a uni town.
Pretty good, a few decent places to go.
Plenty of sport teams to join, not much outside of sport as I know.
