The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my work placement, I feel that I have gained skills for life. I have had many amazing opportunities such as attending gamescom in Germany and many Xbox Events. It was particularly exciting to be involved with launch of the Xbox One.
I felt like a valued member of the team and not considered as just the 'intern'
I felt I was given a lot of support from manager. My manager was extremely approachable, and ensured that we had weekly meetings where she could check up on me.
Very busy on a day to day basis however I enjoyed being busy and being a part of exciting projects.
I was given a lot of responsibility, I had the opportunity to help project manage 3 Free Live Weekends. Own the EMEA YT channels, and run the Best on Gold Campaign on Xbox.com and Xbox 360 dashboard.
I had the opportunity to develop my Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint skills which will be thoroughly useful for my degree and beyond. As well as this my communication, team working and organizational skills have improved
