The Role
Incredible time, you really get pushed to make the most of it!
I was constantly given responsibility and opportunities, and everyone always had my goals in mind when offering them.
My supervisor, despite being extremely busy, always made himself available as and when I needed as well as for our biweekly 1:1s
In all honesty, you're as busy as you make yourself. If you take on a bunch of side projects (which you should!) expect to stay a bit late to get it all done, otherwise you can do your regular commitments and have a bunch of nice coffee breaks/meetings in the span of your 9-5.
Within my first 9 months I'd presented to CTO's, CIO's and Directors. If I was given any more responsibility I may as well have been Spiderman!
The soft skills you'll learn here will help you build connections like you never have before.
The Company
Great banter all the time, but that's not always productive if you have a deadline and are trying to get work done. Leave a set of headphones at work, wearing them is like the universal microsoft sign for "if it's not urgent, leave me alone!"
Wouldve liked to hear about graduate logistics sooner (concrete details on when and how we'll be applying) but otherwise fine!
I'm pretty sure they spend at least 5 times our salary on the events, mentoring, training and opportunities they give each one of us.

You still have to apply and do well on an assessment centre regardless of how well you do during your year... Probably the weakest area of the experience as a whole if you ask me. Still, retention rates aren't bad.
The Culture
Just like uni.
Reading is pretty cheap, being a student city and all.
Not bad.
A club for everything I can think of. Even go karting!
