The Role
I have had an awesome year at Microsoft with a huge amount of opportunities on offer and potential to grow. I have matured as a person in just one year working at Microsoft and have learnt more in my one year at Microsoft than any other year. Most of all the people and culture is awesome!
My team treated me as a full time employee giving me real responsibility with business impacting results. Work hard play hard is a theme at Microsoft and I was fortunate enough for my team to treat me as one of them, rewarding me for my work through recognition and further opportunities.
My sub-manager has been amazing. I meet with him on a weekly basis to discuss my work and personal development to increase my employability.
You can sometimes have a high workload but at other times experience a dip on your work - it balances out. My manager, however, reviews my workload weekly where there is opportunity to re-prioritise and shift projects.
Full responsibility and ownership of real business impacting projects
Learnt a huge amount - more than ever before!
