The Role
Microsoft gives offers you many opportunities throughout the year to work on your personal development and really figure out what you want to do in the future.
I wouldn't exactly say "like family" but I did get a lot respect and recognition, just like any other member of the team.
It's just right. You get the freedom that you need and the guidance that you require.
It is a really busy environment, so prepare to work harder than you have ever worked before. On the other hand the work is really rewarding.
It was just the right amount.
The Company
HR is doing a great job. However some things did not go to plan with the Intern Personal Development Programme.
The opportunities are there, but you will have to put effort in to actually take advantage of them.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
They offer many networking opportunities, however you will not just be given the job; you have to reapply.
The Culture
London is VERY expensive
There is a lot more on offer in Reading than there is in London
