The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed it, opened my taste for technology and the wider Microsoft offering. I can see definitely see myself coming back as a grad.
Very close with both the interns, specialist team and sales team.. Lots of responsibility to grow and develop my own opportunities and receive credit for revenue generated.
I have had weekly one to one meetings with my manager and a committed Mentors to help with any job issues, career development and personal development. .
Very busy with work and taking responsibility for other roles outside my remit which is a positive but perhaps it was a bit too much to take on!
A lot, being in a sales role I asked for a realistic sales number to hit so I could judge and quantify my performance for the year. I was given a lot of opportunities to present, create proposals and meet with clients directly.
I would say this year has been very useful in teaching skills that University cannot. This experience alone has developed skills that every student entering the workplace needs.
The Company
Very fun, friendly and open atmosphere with the people really making it a great place to work!
Really great structured plan and added certain elements during the year based on feedback meant I felt valued and show the continuous improvement the process is making.
Online training, offsite training and official sales certificate training were all apart of my year which the business pushed to have part of my year.
