The Role
I have really enjoyed my time here. I've seen myself grow in many aspects. The level of responsibility I've been given has been great and the managers here really trust me to do my best, which in turn allows me to do so. They also have a great team supporting us as interns which makes all the difference!
I feel very valued by my team. My manager in particular has done a great job of coaching and mentoring me this year. Everyone is so lovely!
Can't fault my manager and even other managers from around the business. It's been lovely to work with each of them and they have all been very happy to help at anytime even if not directly related to me!
There is a lot of room to fill yourself. It's about how you choose to fill it. I found that my actual work from my manager didn't take up too much time, so it was about me filling the rest. It took me a while to realise this though! Now I do as much as I sign myself up for!
There are no boundaries. I have been given responsibility over training more senior people as well as speaking to customers. It's an amazing thing that I'm able to do this!
I haven't returned but I'm certain I will be able to apply everything I've learned this year for the rest of my life - amazing.
The Company
Very good - professional when it needed to be, but everyone is a person too so people are more than happy to have a coffee/game of pool etc :)
I think because of the nature of the roles, it is better to not be so organised. The level of responsibility, trust and freedom comes at somewhat of an organisational cost.
As much as I wanted/needed :) (a lot!)
