The Role
Great company with amazing opportunities to work across all sectors and meet many different people.
I have been treated and given responsibilities similar to all Full time employees in my department, and they really value my input in the team. However, everyone knows that I am an intern and are always willing to provide me with support and guidance.
Throughout. My managers are very keen on providing me with support and guidance whenever I need it, and also on a more structured basis, every week. They have recommended me to take certain workshops, guided me through new projects, and provided me with help on other matters both internal and external to work.
At times, I was given too much work and thus was constantly busy and worked extra hours. However, normally there was a good balance between both.
I was mostly given a good amount of responsibility, to the point that I was the only person aware of how to run a certain process and it couldn't be done by anyone else. This gave me skills such as Time Management, which I value!
Maybe not with my degree studies, but definitely will assist me beyond! Crucial skills such as Commercial Business acumen, time management, organisation, communication and customer focus are invaluable for any future career and have all been obtained from Microsoft.
The Company
Not too bad. Quiet at times.
Great HR team made the process very smooth and easy to transition into.
Allowed me to go to workshops, use the resources in the library and access most training videos on internal websites.

Interns are open to the MACH scheme, Contractor roles and potential full time employment roles. Prospects are spread across 117 interns, so it's very competitive!
The Culture
Great intern community!
Much cheaper than London!
Mediocre. The intern community made it much better.
Yes. we were open to opportunities across most sectors of the organisation, and worked with several people, some very senior, throughout the year.
