The Role
The Company
My office was very relaxed and laid back, there was always support when needed but also people were always happy to have a cup of tea and chat.
The overall structure was very well set up, the mentor ship and the commitments were set out and if i was unsure I knew who to ask.
I felt like the firm fully invested in me. I joined Microsoft not knowing what section of business I wanted to peruse. People were more than happy to take time out to discuss my future, their roles and even allow shadowing. There was a number of outlets for training which was also encouraged.

The prospect of the graduate role is very appealing and I look forward to applying back.
The Culture
There was a very strong intern community as well as a community within each team.
The cost of living was a little high as it was closer to London than where I previously lived.
I am not one to enjoy night-life so cannot comment on this.
I was able to mix with people outside of work due to similar interests. There are a lot of societies within the company to get involved in outside of working hours.
