The Role
Really enjoyed virtually every aspect of my role this year, enjoyed a phenomenal amount of responsibility and flexibility to work on the projects that excited me the most
Really felt like part of the team throughout the year, lots of nights out together and great office vibe. The intern community in general was great to have as well - there was always a night out going on and good times to be had!
My manager Nicola Pinto, was exceptional in every way, supporting me both professionally and personally whenever it was needed. Always felt like she had a lot of faith in me and my abilities and really pushed me to involve myself in projects that have ended up defining my year!
As with most marketing roles, there were peaks and troughs in work load - at some points I was pushed really hard to deliver deadlines, at others I was able to enjoy spare time which I used productively on personal projects.
As the year progressed my responsibility increased. Towards the end of the year I had complete control of some relatively big projects that had pretty big business impact!
The work I've done this year have really helped clarify the kind of work I want to do for the rest of my career. It's given me a lot of focus and determination to get on and achieve high results in my final year so I can bag the career I want.
