The Role
I had and amazing year and I enjoyed every moment of it.
I felt like a key part of my team and I was surprised how much people came to me, asked for my opinion and listened what I had to say. The responsibility I was given by my team was great and really made me feel valued.
My manager was on hand whenever I needed to talk about anything. She really pushed me to make the most of my time here and encouraged me to do my best throughout the year. We had weekly one to ones to check my progress and alter anything according to how I was feeling at the time. Without my managers support, I wouldn't have made the most of this year.
I had a great balance between my job and other responsibilities. Some times of the day I would be busy but I would always have time to do my own thing and I never felt bogged down or unhappy with my workload.
I felt really trusted by team with the amount of responsibility I was given.
There is a real focus on personal development here and you are really pushed to further yourself. From basic business skills, presenting and networking, you are given all the opportunities to improve yourself, it is up to you to take them and make the most of them.
The Company
The atmosphere within my team was great. People were in and out of the office, but the overall atmosphere was definitely conducive to working efficiently and enjoying your time here.
The placement was managed really well. At the start, you are given plenty of support to help you settle in, with plenty of resources available.
I feel the company offers numerous events for you to get involved in. Its up to you to take them and make the most of them.
