The Role
Really good year, so many opportunities and met some great people.
Certain teams show more appreciation to interns, it really depends on the team.
From my manager none, but again, specific teams give more, some interns got lots.
Some days I would be really busy, then others very quiet. Some I would only be busy at specific points, then quiet again, which is frustrating.
Very little responsibility. Again, some interns got much more and it is very role dependant.
Technical skills, none, but world-wise, yes I have learnt a lot (for future careers).
The Company
The atmosphere was a little dull.
The placement was organised and ran very very well, it can not be faulted. The HR team do a great job.
Lots of training to get involved in and other opportunities to go out and learn more. Very good.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Lots of opportunities to come back at work here again. The future looks positive.
The Culture
Lots of interns means lots of social events. Microsoft organise some too, so this is very good.
Very expensive in Central London. That is just how it is, you have to suck it up and enjoy the year.
Good, plenty of places in London to go out. Very good.
Lots of events to get involved in, loads of Microsoft discounted events available too.
