The Role
A really empowering placement if you are willing to work hard.
Not enough feedback
You are totally responsible for your task, at one point you will be running a store being the only manager in charge. You therefore need to be able to handle the pressure of the responsibility.
Improved my confidence in my abilities and business skills.
The Company
Plans were set up but these frequently changed. Retail is a fast paced industry so you need to be able to adapt and be flexible.
Training in the store format could have been greatly improved. Different individuals had varying levels of training which therefore put some IP's at a disadvantage.
Company Car
Above 25 days holiday
The company car is only given to you when you are doing a lot of travelling.
The Culture
We had dinners together occasionally and kept in contact with each other.
Normal prices for a non university area.
Surrounding areas such as Bath, Bristol, Swindon and Reading have a really good nightlife. Three of the previous places have universities so the nightlife is really good during term times.
