The Role
A really great team who not only wanted to know what I could do for them but wanted to know what they could do for me and let me grab as many opportunities as possible.
The team were exceptionally welcoming and all really made an effort to include me.
My manager/supervisors were really great and not only were happy to answer any questions but to explain complex technology to me to further my knowledge.
Towards the start of the placement it was relatively quiet, mostly due to the business requirements however over the year it picked up with a wide variety of jobs being required of me.
After a few months i was trusted to manage the department on my own when my managers were away and also trusted by other departments as a contact in my department.
The Team taught me skills which were so relevant to my degree and industry and of which will be exceptionally helpful in my final year and Career.
The Company
Great welcoming environment with a fun team.
The first few weeks was a steep learning curve and after that it was all smooth!
The company provided me with opportunities for training that were available to permanant staff and also included me in meetings and corporate events.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
If the business requirement is there then they have said they will hire me!
The Culture
Most other interns were really friendly and we had socials almost every weekend.
London is really expensive however pre-drinks maked it fine!
Chiswick is relatively suburban with only pubs however down the road is kingston or hop on the tube for all of london!
Chiswick Park hosted many events and sports and competitions for all companies in the business park.
