The Role
I enjoyed it a lot. It was an amazing experience and I got to learn a lot and meet so many new people.
They valued my contributions and I felt like part of the team. Everyone treated me fairly and it was a good atmosphere.
Great support from manager and colleagues. Any questions you have, you can just ask them and they will answer. Feedback was also given to help me improve.
Never had to sit about doing nothing, there was always something to do. I think the balance of work was just about right.
Responsibility increased as the internship went on. It was good to be responsible and it gave the sense that they really trust the interns which was good.
I learned a lot of useful skills which I think I will be able to use for the rest of my life!
The Company
Great atmosphere. Didn't feel too pressured and colleagues were great.
Internship communications were frequent and clear and me and the other interns always knew what was happening. We could ask for clarification, anyway.
The company puts quite a big emphasis on training - they want to make sure you have the skills, so any training you want to do is provided which was really good.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Future employment is really appealing. Hope to apply for the graduate scheme.
The Culture
Yeah the social scene was good. All the interns went out often for drinks and a catch-up after work which was good.
A lot more expensive than I thought it would be which meant I had to take more care on my spending, but it was manageable.
A lot to do and a lot of fun. It's good to go out a few nights just to relax.
Yes, there were a lot of opportunities -- both company organised and also intern - organised events. It was good fun to get to know everyone.
