The Role
Wide variety of different projects worked on over the course of a year. Friendly office, and real work.
Very friendly office, settled in straight away, anybody would feel welcome
Thorough and Comprehensive support from anybody as needed, you only need to ask.
Swings and roundabouts, can be busy, can be quiet
You take on proper projects for real products. Manage your own time for a lot of this, and ensure that all projects run concurrently
Vast improvement in design skills, particularly drafting. No real maths or scientific aspects, but these are still aided through design.
The Company
Office never silent. Always people coming and going, everybody talks to everybody
Short handover with previous student helped to prepare me for the year, then ongoing support from the rest of the team.

There's plenty of students working for DePuy, in this department you don't really encounter others through work, but easy to get in contact.
Leeds is generally a cheap city to live
Leeds is a good night out, two uni's and a big city mean it's always busy
