  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It has been an invaluable experience as I have learnt a lot and applied University knowledge.

    • I felt like part of the team straight away. I was taken on welcome lunches to introduce me to the rest of the team.

    • You're given a mentor during your time on placement.

    • I never clock watched whilst at ERAC, there is always something to do.

    • You are involved in everything and treated exactly like all the permanent staff.

    • I have grown in confidence as a person due to the amount I was pushed by the Financial Controller.

    • Never quiet, always chatter among colleagues.

    • First year they had finance interns but process worked really well. We had training files to work through.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There are department nights outs and then an annual awards evening for the whole group.

    • Lived at home so was very cheap.

    • Vibrant night life with the office being 20 minutes away from the City Centre.
