The Role
My time at PwC was excellent overall, unfortunately as I was also doing my ACA throughout my placement, I did not get to spend a huge amount of time doing work, and training took up a lot of time, however other then that it was excellent!
You do not realise that you are a placement student, you will be treated just like everyone else!
Whenever stuck or in doubt, everyone at PwC is very supportive and helpful, so there is never a need to worry or be scared, ask for help and you will get it.
As most people are aware when applying, this is not your typical 9-5 job, during busy season you can expect to be as late as 10pm even, so not necessarily an amazing work and life balance, but the hard work pays off.
You are given total responsibility, so every piece of work you do is important and you will be made aware of this.
Within 11 months, I have grown as a person, being able to deal with clients, and gaining a much better understanding of the industry as a whole.
The Company
Excellent and friendly, supporting each other. Everyone is very supportive, and the job is made fun.
Simply Perfect. Every little detail is taken care off, and any questions are answered.
The firm invests a fortune into your training and it is up to you to make the most of that.

The Culture
Placement students regularly organise drinks and other events. It is very lively...
City - so expensive. But I wouldn't Regret.
There are a lot of bars and pubs closeby, so it is what you make of it really. Amazing.
There are lots of societies/clubs to join, be it football or table tennis or any other activity. Name it and you got it.
